📄 Show Drill Transcript
One of my favorite drills for fixing thin shots:
- Move your trail foot back so your toes are aligned with the middle of your lead foot — this is the split stance.
- It helps shift your weight to your lead leg, encouraging clean ball-then-ground contact.
- In your backswing, rotate open until your belt buckle faces the camera — creating space for an on-plane downswing.
- Maintain an exaggerated L shape between your arms and the club shaft.
- Post up on your lead leg for a strong follow-through.
